On Saturday, April 5, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Purdue Northwest Pride.

The game took place at Dowling Park. This was their second matchup against the Pride this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at GVSU Softball Field against Grand Valley State Lakers.
