On Sunday, April 6, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Grand Valley State Lakers.

The game took place at GVSU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m. at GVSU Softball Field against Grand Valley State Lakers.
