On Wednesday, April 16, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Findlay Oilers.

The game took place at Anderson Field. This was their first matchup against the Oilers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 5 p.m. at Anderson Field against Findlay Oilers.
