Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on February 25, 2026, expressing criticism of certain criminal justice policies and voicing support for law enforcement personnel.

In her first post at 03:29 UTC, McClain stated: “Sarah should be alive today. Yet the Radical Left’s pro-criminal policies have put a TARGET on the back of our men and women in uniform. Despicable.”

Minutes later at 03:36 UTC, she followed up with another message: “PEACE. THROUGH. STRENGTH.”

At 03:39 UTC, McClain wrote: “ANDREW WOLFE YOU ARE AN AMERICAN HERO!”

Lisa McClain has represented Michigan’s 9th District in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. McClain earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1997.
