Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a current U.S. Congress member representing Michigan’s 9th District since 2021, shared a series of tweets on April 18, 2025, indicating her support for international and domestic policies, political criticisms, and offering a religious sentiment.

In a tweet posted at 12:11 AM, McClain expressed her confidence in President Trump’s actions. She stated, “I have full faith in President Trump. We’re already seeing the results of his negotiations. Japan yesterday, Italy today. Countries are coming to the table and companies are choosing to invest in AMERICA.”

Later, at 1:56 AM, McClain criticized a U.S. Senator’s actions, emphasizing a lack of leadership and foresight. She tweeted, “A United States Senator is breaking bread with a violent, illegal alien. This is what happens when you have no vision, no plan, and no leader — and clearly just tone deaf ideas. This is what it looks like to sell out your country and put America LAST.”

At 12:05 PM, McClain conveyed a religious message in observance of Good Friday, extending wishes to those observing the Christian holy day. She wrote, “Today, may those who follow Christ find peace, for the Lord has died for our sins. From my family to yours, I want to wish you all a blessed Good Friday! “

Lisa McClain, who was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966, graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration in 1997, and now resides in Bruce, Michigan.
