Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress representative for Michigan’s 9th district, shared her thoughts on recent legislative developments through a series of tweets. McClain has been in office since 2021, succeeding Paul Mitchell.

On May 13, 2025, McClain remarked on the current administration’s efforts to reverse regulatory actions from the previous presidency. She noted, “ICYMI Last Friday, @POTUS put pen to paper and reversed FOUR more of Biden’s burdensome regulations.” She emphasized the collaborative efforts of the House GOP to address what she described as “overreach” by the former administration and congratulated her colleagues @USRepGaryPalmer, @RepBice, and @Rep_Clyde for their roles.

In a follow-up tweet posted shortly after the first one at 01:04:45 UTC on May 13, McClain provided a link for further details: (2/2) https://t.co/Fx9q81dbcf
