Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, marked April 13, 2026, with a series of posts on social media highlighting themes of American history and manufacturing.

McClain has served as Michigan’s representative in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. McClain graduated from Northwood University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
