On August 25, 2025, McClain posted about meeting a local veteran: “I finally got to meet our July Veteran of the Month, Sgt. Loughran played a critical role in WWII with the @USMC as a”.

The following day, she marked an anniversary related to American military losses: “Fours years ago today, 13 brave American service members lost their lives at Abbey Gate. Later on August 26, McClain commented on recent economic news impacting her home state: “As a Michigander, let me tell you, making automobiles in America is rocket fuel for local communities! The latest investment from @Hyundai is another win for America and proof that @POTUS’ plan is working!”

McClain has served as Michigan’s representative since succeeding Paul Mitchell in 2021 and resides in Bruce Township. Born in Stockbridge in 1966 and currently aged 57, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University (earned in 1997).

Her recent statements reflect ongoing themes of veteran support and local economic growth—both key issues for her constituency.
