Chairwoman Lisa McClain, U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, posted a series of tweets on February 11, 2026, addressing topics ranging from sports to criticism of public figures.

In her first post at 00:37 UTC, McClain welcomed a sports figure back to Detroit with the message: “Welcome home JV! Detroit No Matter What “.

Later that morning at 01:35 UTC, she expressed support for the national team by posting: “Go Team USA “.

In a subsequent tweet at 19:08 UTC, McClain criticized television host Jimmy Kimmel and referenced recent controversies involving immigration and crime. She wrote: “Hollywood elites like Jimmy Kimmel are completely out of touch. He says illegal immigrant pedophiles are ‘raising our children’ and calls me ‘ignorant’? Tell that to Laken Riley’s family and the countless angel families who’ve paid the price. Jimmy, how do you sleep at night”.

Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She earned her BBA from Northwood University in 1997. Before her tenure in Congress began in 2021, she succeeded Paul Mitchell as representative for Michigan’s 9th district.
