On May 16, 2025, McClain acknowledged National Police Week by expressing gratitude towards law enforcement. She stated, “This National Police Week, the @HouseGOP honored America’s law enforcement. They have our back. It’s only right that we have theirs.”

Later that day, she attended an event hosted by AEM Advisors titled “Construction on the Mall,” where she engaged with Michigan manufacturers to discuss innovation and manufacturing advancements in America. McClain tweeted about the event at 21:28 UTC: “Yesterday, I joined Michigan manufacturers at @aemadvisor’s Construction on the Mall event to hear how they are driving innovation and manufacturing in America!”

Shortly after, at 21:30 UTC on May 16th, McClain urged for legislative action through another tweet. She emphasized the importance of passing a comprehensive bill aimed at supporting various sectors including working families and small businesses. Her message read: “The time is now. The American people are counting on us to pass this bill. Let’s pass the One Big, Beautiful Bill for our working families, our farmers, our war fighters, and our small businesses.”

Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
