Chairwoman Lisa McClain, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th District since 2021, shared updates on her recent initiatives and perspectives through a series of tweets. McClain, originally from Stockbridge, Michigan, and a Northwood University graduate, has focused her political career on advancing policies that resonate with her constituents.

On April 14, McClain expressed optimism about her ongoing legislative work by stating, “Ready for another 100 days of winning and delivering for the American people! “.

Following that, on April 15, she highlighted issues pertaining to public safety and national security by listing the names of several American girls and women she said were killed by individuals who she described as “criminal, illegal aliens”. She stated, “Rachel Morin. Laken Riley. Jocelyn Nungaray. Camillia Williams. A list of American girls and women killed by criminal, illegal aliens. A list that shouldn’t exist.”

Later that day, McClain shared her concerns about family economic burdens in relation to tax legislation. She remarked, “As a mother, I know raising a family isn’t easy — or cheap. If the Trump Tax Cuts expire, raising a family is going to become a whole lot more expensive. I voted to keep the President and American people’s agenda moving forward!”

Lisa McClain, 57, is a Congresswoman who currently lives in Bruce, Michigan, and has been vocal about issues ranging from tax reforms to national safety policies.
