Today, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) issued a statement following President Donald Trump’s signing of the $9 billion rescissions package into law.
“Today is a major win for American taxpayers. President Trump just made it official: wasteful Washington spending will not go unchecked,” Chairwoman McClain stated. “Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars should be spent on real priorities, and House Republicans will continue to root out waste, fraud, and abuse.”
