City of Pontiac issued the following announcement on Jan 12.

City Hall Closed for Dr. MLK Jr. Holiday – Trash Collection Schedule Changed

City Hall will be closed Monday, January 17, 2022 for the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. holiday. GFL garbage collection will be delayed one day. Monday’s trash route will be collected on Tuesday and so forth, with Friday’s trash route collected on Saturday.
