Avondale School District recently issued the following announcement.
CONGRATULATIONS to our Avondale High School Varsity Cheer Team! Last Friday, at the Division 2 District 9 competition, the team came in 4th – only 0.5 away from 3rd place – and will advance to the Regional Final this Saturday, February 26th at 10:00am at Holly High School. This is only the 5th time in school history that an Avondale High School cheer team has qualified for Regionals in school history.
This is the first year in school history that the cheer team has WON THEIR LEAGUE AND QUALIFIED FOR REGIONALS IN THE SAME YEAR!!
These girls continue to represent Avondale with passion and heart! They can’t wait to compete Saturday and show everyone their absolute best.
