On Saturday, March 29, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 8-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Roosevelt Lakers.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lakers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 3 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Roosevelt Lakers.
