On Friday, April 11, former Lake Orion High School standout Evan Waters’ current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, won 11-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Akron Zips.

The game took place at Skeeles Field. This was their first matchup against the Zips this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 1 p.m. at Skeeles Field against Akron Zips.
