On Friday, April 18, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 13-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Davenport Panthers.

The game took place at Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1:50 p.m. at SVSU Softball Complex against Ferris State Bulldogs.
