On Friday, May 2, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex. This was their fifth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Grand Valley State Lakers.
