On Saturday, May 17, former Lake Orion High School standout Connor McCartan’s current collegiate team the Northwood Timberwolves won 5-4 against the Grand Valley State Lakers in the NCAA Division II Baseball Championship.

The game took place at GVSU Baseball Field at 2 p.m. and was the second matchup against the Grand Valley State Lakers in the tournament.

The Northwood Timberwolves’ next game will take place on Thursday, May 22 at 2 p.m. at Greyhound Park.
