On Tuesday, April 22, former Lake Orion High School standout Evan Waters’ current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, lost 8-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies.

The game took place at Oakland Baseball Field. This was their first matchup against the Golden Grizzlies this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 2 p.m. at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium against Ball State Cardinals.
