On Sunday, March 23, former Lake Orion High School standout Evan Waters’ current college team, the Central Michigan Chippewas, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Ralph McKinzie Field at Walt and Janice Owens Park. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.

The Chippewas’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium against Grace Christian Tigers.
