Lake Orion Police Department recently issued the following announcement.
Lake Orion Police are sending prayers to Officer Jason Rivera family and to our partners in law enforcement NYPD. Jason Rivera was murdered last night on a domestic call and his partner Wilbert Mora (27) who was critically wounded last night is fighting for his life. Jason was just 22 years old. Jason was a son, husband and Officer of the New York PD. Jason was just a kid who had taken the oath to make things better.
NYPD have had 5 officers shot already in 2022 so sad!
