U.S. Representative Lisa McClain, who serves Michigan’s 9th district, posted a series of statements on her official social media account highlighting recent legislative and political developments.
On July 20, 2025, McClain expressed support for the current administration by stating, “President Trump is DELIVERING & America is WINNING “.
The following day, July 21, she commented on economic progress attributed to President Trump’s leadership and new legislation: “In just six months, @POTUS has unleashed our economy and made America prosperous again!
With the help of the One Big Beautiful Bill, American workers will continue to thrive.”
Later that same day, McClain addressed foreign policy concerns regarding China and Taiwan. She wrote: “We must protect our national security and push back on the Chinese Communist Party’s unwarranted threats.
Today, the House UNANIMOUSLY passed my bill — the Taiwan Conflict Deterrence Act. America must stand strong with its allies and against CCP aggression.”
Lisa McClain has represented Michigan’s 9th District in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Paul Mitchell. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, McClain earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1997.
