U.S. Congresswoman Lisa McClain, representing Michigan’s 9th district, recently used her social media platform to highlight legislative efforts focused on seniors and working families.
On April 14, 2026, McClain shared a post with the message: “Read more here: https://t.co/4CTPZ7t9QF”.
The following day, April 15, she wrote: “I worked with President Trump to deliver on our promise to SUPPORT SENIORS! This is about protecting those on a fixed income. It’s the right thing to do, especially as so many are still struggling from the fallout of YEARS of Democrat-fueled INFLATION. You shouldn’t be squeezed https://t.co/DKG8IArZuJ”.
Later that same day, McClain posted: “Republicans passed the Working Families Tax Cuts to put MORE money in the pockets of American workers and middle-class families! https://t.co/lIlvfURznJ”.
Lisa McClain has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Paul Mitchell. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. In addition to her legislative work, she graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
