On May 8, 2026, McClain announced the passage of a tax relief measure in the House of Representatives, stating: “House Republicans delivered permanent tax relief for America’s job creators. Every House Democrat voted no.”
Later that day, she addressed border security and public safety issues. In her post dated May 8, 2026, McClain wrote: “Securing the border is NOT extreme. Protecting your wives and daughters is NOT extreme. Wanting violent criminals off our streets is NOT extreme. It’s common sense. Read more here:” The tweet included a link to additional information.
On May 9, 2026, McClain provided an update about a local emergency in Orion Township: “My office and I are monitoring the water main situation in Orion Township and are in direct contact with local authorities. Though the situation remains stable, Orion Township has declared a state of emergency. Please enroll in the township’s emergency alerts to stay informed:”
McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce at age 57. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1997.
