Lisa McClain, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th District, has been actively sharing updates and engaging with the public via social media. On April 30, 2025, McClain paid tribute to Senior Airman Robert “Rob” Longo as the MI-09 Veteran of the Month “This month, I am honored to recognize Senior Airman Robert “Rob” Longo as the MI-09 Veteran of the Month. A resident of Leonard, Michigan, SrA Longo answered the call to serve his country in 1968 when he enlisted in the United States Air Force at the height of the Vietnam War.”

Later the same day, she addressed the necessity of passing the No Rogue Rulings Act, advocated by Representative Darrell Issa. McClain’s post emphasized the importance of advancing the bill to the President’s desk, reflecting her urgency with and reiteration of her stance towards legislative action ” This is why we need to get @repdarrellissa’s No Rogue Rulings Act to @POTUS’ desk!”

Additionally, McClain participated in a discussion on Fox & Friends about the House GOP’s efforts in drafting significant legislative measures. She highlighted the need to prevent what she described as “the largest tax hike in American history” and expressed confidence in the current legislative direction “In case you missed it, I spoke with @kilmeade on @foxandfriends about @HouseGOP’s efforts this week to draft the one big, beautiful bill. We need to avoid the largest tax hike in American history. We are right on track. Full steam ahead.”
