U.S. Congresswoman Lisa McClain, who represents Michigan’s 9th district, posted a series of tweets on July 30, 2025, highlighting her support for recent economic policies and legislation.

In a post from the morning of July 30, McClain wrote: “Fearmonger this, Democrats. @POTUS’ trade wins and the One Big Beautiful Bill have ignited the American economy! “

Later that day, she shared details about a visit to a local business: “It was great to visit @ABS_Energy in Lake Orion and tour their facilities. Companies like theirs will directly benefit from the One Big Beautiful Bill, especially the expensing provisions. American companies are about to enter their golden age!”

In an evening tweet on July 30, McClain added: “Tired of winning yet?”

Lisa McClain has served in Congress since 2021 after succeeding Paul Mitchell as representative for Michigan’s 9th district. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. McClain graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
