Michigan State Representative Matt Maddock has made several posts on social media addressing issues ranging from political ideology to environmental concerns and state spending.

On August 2, 2025, Maddock wrote, “And the communists and leftists continue to dehumanize masculinity. Nothing they do is good for anyone.”

Later that day, on August 3, 2025, he commented on the environmental impact of recent wildfires in Canada, stating, “2025 Canadian fires have produced more carbon emissions than the US and Canada combined the last ten years.” Large-scale wildfires in Canada have been known to contribute significantly to atmospheric carbon emissions, affecting air quality across North America.

In a post on August 3, 2025, Maddock turned his attention to Michigan’s mental health system funding: “Michigan taxpayers pay like 5000 for every patient in the mental health system but patient only get 50 bucks worth of care.” Concerns about mental health funding efficiency and allocation have been ongoing topics of debate within Michigan’s legislature.

Maddock serves as a state representative in Michigan and frequently uses his platform to address policy issues and voice opinions on current events.
