Shortly after, he added another post stating: “Communist Dems are using Cloward-Piven to give welfare to illegals to crash the entire system for the ppl who need it most.” The Cloward-Piven strategy refers to a political theory developed in the 1960s that proposed overloading public welfare systems as a means to bring about policy change.
A third tweet followed on the same day: “Another Democrat scam to funnel money to their Democrat scammers.”
Maddock has been known for making strong statements regarding Democratic policies and often uses social media platforms to express his views. As a state legislator representing Michigan’s 51st district, he has focused on issues related to agriculture and government spending.
