Matt Maddock, a Michigan state lawmaker, made several statements on March 29, 2026, via his social media account criticizing Democratic and left-leaning policies and the current state of the judicial system.

In one post, Maddock commented on government regulation, stating, “Democrats and communists are totalitarians. If we let them control toilet paper, they’d regulate us to three pieces a day.” (March 29, 2026).

Later that day, he addressed the judiciary and crime in urban areas: “Since leftists judges took over most of our courts, the judicial system gives justice to criminals not victims. They release them with zero bail and refuse to send the few that show up to court to prison. Stop crime in the D and ppl will move back and it can be beautiful again.” (March 29, 2026).

Maddock also referenced standards within Michigan’s legislative body by stating: “As a lawmaker myself, I can say this is something that is not tolerated in Michigan.” (March 29, 2026).

Matt Maddock has been an active figure in Michigan politics as a member of the state legislature. His public statements often focus on criticism of progressive policies and calls for stricter criminal justice measures.
