Michigan State Representative Matt Maddock posted a series of tweets on July 30 and 31, 2025, criticizing Democratic lawmakers and expressing support for former President Donald Trump’s budgetary actions.

On July 30, Maddock wrote, “Dems and communist lives revolve around one thing – Addiction to abortion.” On the same day, he added another post: “Dems and kommies steal and embezzle billions of tax dollars using their nonprofits to fund the USA communist regime.”

The following day, Maddock expressed gratitude to former President Trump for budget cuts in Michigan. In his tweet from July 31, he stated: “Thank you President Trump for cutting our state budget! @MichiganDems still won’t cut the piggy pork. Maybe now they’ll be forced to.”

Matt Maddock is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives. His social media posts frequently address fiscal policy and partisan issues within the state legislature.
