Matt Maddock, a Michigan state representative, posted several comments on his social media account between March 7 and March 8, 2026. His posts address topics including higher education, school safety policies, and U.S. politics.
On March 7, Maddock wrote about the University of Michigan: “U of M is a communist assembly line.”
Shortly after, on the same day, he commented on the issue of firearms in schools: “Waste of money. Let teachers have guns. Just one even. And let the psycho’s know.”
On March 8, Maddock made a statement regarding former President Donald Trump and communism in America: “Trump is going to take out every communist regime and all the ppl rescued will rejoice and the ONLY ppl fighting this are the 20 million communist freeloader pigs embedded like tics in America.”
Maddock has been known for his outspoken conservative views as a member of Michigan’s House of Representatives.
