In one post published at 13:23 UTC, Maddock wrote: “75% of these ppl are living like Kings on welfare and fake disability and that’s why they’re really protesting. Because Trump is going to stop all this welfare fraud and make them get a job to feed themselves.”

Later that day at 13:55 UTC, he stated: “Michigan taxpayers fund left-wing activists posing as artists. It’s one of the newest scam to get tax dollars into the hands of communists.”

At 14:39 UTC, Maddock posted another comment: “They love criminals up until the moment they become a victim.”

Maddock has been known for his outspoken views on issues such as government spending and public assistance programs. As a legislator in Michigan, he has previously criticized what he describes as misuse of state funds and has voiced opposition to certain welfare policies.
