Matt Maddock, a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives, posted several comments on his Twitter account on April 1, 2026. His tweets covered topics ranging from international oil relations to political engagement at the local level.

In one post made at 11:53 a.m., Maddock commented on potential energy agreements between Mexico and the United States, stating: “Translation: Mexico will be gifting tankers full of oil to America.”

Later that day, at 12:50 p.m., Maddock referenced an incident involving undercover agents, writing: “Had no idea that had 11 agents on the floor. 11. They sent in a small army and we didn’t notice them until like noon.”

At 2:10 p.m., Maddock reflected on his early involvement in politics and encouraged others to participate in local party activities. He wrote: “Becoming a Precinct Delegate in 1997 was the first thing I did to make a difference in politics. You will build lifelong relationships with the best people and nothing beats actually having a meaningful say/vote about what happens. Call your local GOP Party and sign up right now.”

Maddock has served as a state representative for Michigan since 2019 and is known for his active role within the Republican Party. Precinct delegates are grassroots officials who help organize party efforts at the local level, playing a key part in candidate selection and party governance.
