Matt Maddock, a public figure and politician from Michigan, shared several posts on his social media account on February 22, 2026. His tweets addressed topics ranging from personal anecdotes to criticism of national organizations and recognition of local athletes.

In one post, Maddock recounted an experience involving a former employee: “Once one of my employees who had five kids had all five kids recruited to be on disability. The counselor told her she could help her claim all five had ADD/ADHD and get money but they would also have to take the meds. She said no.” (February 22, 2026).

Later that day, Maddock commented on the National Association of Counties (NACo), stating: “National Association of Counties @NACoCounties today is a leftist organization run by communists. The communists capture assets and immediately turn them against America. They are very smart. They know how to amass power and they do it.” (February 22, 2026).

Maddock also highlighted the achievements of Michigan-born hockey players in another tweet: “Great job Michigan boys! Zach Werenski – Defenseman (goal assist) is from Grosse Pointe. Jack Hughes – Forward, who scored the OT goal, is from Canton. Obviously, Dylan Larkin, who will also get an assist on the final goal, is from Novi. And finally, Connor Hellebuyck the best” (February 22, 2026).

Matt Maddock has served as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives and has been active in state politics for several years.
