Matt Maddock criticizes environmental regulations and political opponents in a series of posts on March 10, 2026.
In his first post, Maddock expressed concerns about regulatory practices by federal and state agencies. On March 10, 2026, he wrote: “The EPA and @MichiganEGLE is constantly changing air quality standards to one part per zillion so they can say everything is contaminated and increase taxes to clean it all up and bully more businesses.”
Later the same day, Maddock commented on political adversaries with a brief statement. At 17:42 UTC, he posted: “The left has dead batteries.”
In a third post on March 10, Maddock made another pointed remark regarding ideological opponents. He stated: “There wouldn’t be enough prison space if every communist cheater was sent to prison.”
Matt Maddock is a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regularly reviews and updates air quality standards as mandated by the Clean Air Act. The Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) works in coordination with federal guidelines to regulate pollutants in the state.
