Oxford Community Schools issued the following announcement on Feb 11.
Did you know that February is National Children’s Dental Health Month?
DK and Kindergarten classes at Clear Lake enjoyed a visit with Dental Hygienists and special guest “Tooth Rex” from Dr. Greenfield’s office. Tooth Rex helped students learn how to brush their teeth, floss, and that they should try to brush for two minutes, twice a day. Students had the chance to be inquirers and ask questions about what Dentists and Dental Hygienists do, as well as make connections to their own prior dentist and loose tooth experiences.
