Northwood wins 61-57 in NCAA Division II tournament opener on March 13

The Northwood Timberwolves, featuring former Oxford High School athlete Peyton Richter, secured a 61-57 win over the Malone Pioneers on Friday, March 13 in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest, which tipped off at noon at GVSU Fieldhouse, marked Northwood’s first game of the tournament against Malone.

Northwood is set to play its next game on Saturday, March 14 at 5 p.m. at GVSU Fieldhouse Arena.
