On Friday, March 28, former Stoney Creek High School standout Evan Woodward’s current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 14-8 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Talley Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 4 p.m. at Talley Stadium against William Jewell Cardinals.
