On Saturday, April 12, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.

The game took place at SVSU Softball Complex. This was their fourth matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 12 p.m. at SVSU Softball Complex against Roosevelt Lakers.
