On Sunday, April 13, former Lake Orion High School standout Chris Hege’s current college team, the Western Illinois Leathernecks, won 14-9 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the UT Martin Skyhawks.

The game took place at Skyhawk Baseball Field. This was their third matchup against the Skyhawks this season.

The Leathernecks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 2 p.m. at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium against St. Ambrose Fighting Bees.
