On Saturday, April 26, former Avondale High School standout Emily Beckas’ current college team, the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals, won 13-6 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Purdue Northwest Pride.

The game took place at Dowling Park. This was their fourth matchup against the Pride this season.

The Cardinals’ next game is scheduled for Friday, May 2 at 10:55 a.m. at The Dome at Parkway Bank Sports Complex against Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers.
