How many patents granted in Auburn Hills in week ending June 27?

There were 20 patents granted in Auburn Hills in the week ending June 27, according to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

This is seven more than the week before. Patents included a positioning pins for foldable printed circuit board.

The earliest patent filed which was granted in the week ending June 27 belonged to TK Holdings, Inc. who filed in March 3, 2015.

The number of approved patents in the U.S. grew steadily from roughly 225,000 in 2009 to more than 285,000 in 2019. The number of patents approved suffered a slight downturn in 2020.

Gene Quinn with IPWatchdog said the system underneath patents have become unwieldy, specifically for medical innovations.
