Pontiac City School District recently issued the following announcement.
The heat was on on last Saturday as we hosted our first "Brotherly Love Grill Event" with the Clarence E Phillips Ascend Foundation celebrating positive male influences in our community.
Some of Pontiac's finest gentlemen came out to show their grilling skills and to share their stories of success and mentorship to youth in our community. Our panel of judges had discerning taste buds and are also making a huge impact as leaders in the community.
It was a great time and all the action was streamed live for people to view at home.
