OMS PBIS program (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support)

Preschool storytime 1400

Oxford Community Schools issued the following announcement on Nov 23.

As part of the OMS PBIS program (Positive Behavior Intervention & Support), they encourage students to demonstrate being Principled, Caring Communicators.

Ben Morgan earned WildCat Cash from Ms. Rowe for being Caring and Principled. Then, he asked if he could "cash in" his earnings to be teacher for the hour in Senora Prouty’s Spanish class.

On Friday, he was introduced as "guest teacher" and the rest of the class was asked to show him respect. Ben was a great leader guiding the class through different educational activities online. He hosted several rounds of Gimkit and Blooket. Kids were so excited that Ben was their teacher they all logged into the one game with variations of the same name: "Ben is bussin" (which is to say Ben is awesome!).

OMS is full of principled, caring communicators! Thank you, Wildcats!
