Green Schools Program

Z

Every year through the Green Schools Program, residents donate their recyclebank points to the school project of their choice. Thanks to their generosity, all five schools that applied were fully funded!

Since 2011, Rochester Hills has partnered with Recyclebank to turn neighbor's points into dollars for local schools through the Green Schools program. These dollars have allowed us to purchase refillable water stations, outdoor classrooms and more.

Over the years, the Green Schools program has provided over $112,000 to school projects in the community.

We are so grateful for both the residents that donated their points as well as the parents, students, teachers, and principals that every year come together and use their creativity to find new ways to create greener schools.
