The All For Oxford Resiliency Center invites students, staff and family members of those that were at Oxford High School on November 30th, to an Education Meeting to learn to work towards recovery on July 19, 2022 at Legacy 925 Event Center from 6 - 7:30 pm.
Consultants from the Federal Office for Victims of Crime will share lessons learned from prior mass violence incidents and from current research that can help inform our expectations as we move forward.
What helps to aid resiliency and recovery after trauma can be answered by looking at the exposure to the event, the time frames within which people tend to move through recovery, social supports and the influences of our life experiences such as previous trauma and learned coping skills.
A representative from the prosecutor’s office will also be in attendance and providing a general overview of court proceedings and victims’ rights in Michigan. No specific references to the Oxford case will be discussed.
This Education Meeting is closed to the Media.
