Superintendent's Excellent Award Winner - Max Columbus - Max is a leader 100% of the time! He exudes positivity, energy, and overall kindness EVERY single day. He comes to school ready to learn. He greets everyone by name as he walks by with a smile. Max is a student that every teacher, staff member, and fellow classmate can count on. Max always comes ready to learn.
Max is part of Robotics, participating in the Word Competition at Cobo Hall last year. He mentors kindergartners and first graders in his Jewish Youth Group every Sunday. Max is also quite the entrepreneur! He has his own Youtube channel called, "Max Cool Gamer Columbus". He interviews TV news personalities and radio hosts. You can tell that he does his research because he tailors his questions to each individual person.
Max has such a big heart. Selfless, caring, and hardworking are just a few ways to describe what a great person and student he is. Max is a friend to all and offers a helping hand to any student or teacher in need.
