Orion Oaks American Heart Association fundraiser | Lake Orion Community Schools
The students, families, staff and PTO at Orion Oaks Elementary joined together in learning about heart health and raising funds to protect all hearts – especially for other kids.
Through fun activities this month, they discovered ways to take care of our hearts and brains while practicing kindness, gratitude and learning ways to de-stress. They more than doubled our goal and raised $11,007.04 for the American Heart Association, capping the fundraiser with sliming of Principal Jillian Knapp and physical education teacher Mark Russell on March 3.
