Rep. Lisa McClain, alongside fellow Republicans on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, has requested documentation from FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell. The request follows whistleblower allegations of discrimination against hurricane victims displaying specific political signage.

"The allegations and evidence turned over by the whistleblower raise serious doubts that the incident in Florida was isolated," McClain stated. "Americans reeling from a natural disaster deserve assistance no matter their beliefs. Everyone involved in these actions at FEMA should be held responsible, and we will leave no stone unturned to ensure un-elected bureaucrats pushing personal and political agendas are held to account."

The call for documentation comes after an Oversight Committee hearing where McClain questioned Criswell about alleged discrimination within the Biden administration against conservatives. A whistleblower reportedly contacted committee staff during this hearing, revealing similar conduct in Georgia as seen in Florida.

The Daily Caller previously reported on November 8 about a FEMA supervisor instructing aid workers to bypass homes of Trump supporters when providing assistance post-Hurricane Milton in Florida.
